Returns and Exchanges Returns and Exchanges
Return and Exchange Information

When making a return or exchange, customer must provide proper proof of purchase, which should include company invoice. No other form will be accepted. We only refund or exchange at current market value. When refunding Surveillance Equipment there will be a mandatory 20% restocking fee. For Computer Equipment, if returned within the first 5 days of purchase date there will be no restocking fee charged. If returned between 6 and 15 days after purchase date there will be a mandatory 15% restocking fee. No Refunds on opened software. All returned merchandise must be in original box in new condition and include any and all drivers, packing material, and documentation for exchange or refund. NO REFUNDS AFTER 15 DAYS. Returns will not be accepted on items that have been damaged due to improper handling, abuse or neglect on the part of the customer. Returns will not be accepted on packages that do not include all drivers, packing material, and documentation. No refunds on special orders.

PROCESSORS
Processors carry a 30-day limited** warranty. NO EXCEPTIONS. Removal of warranty stickers voids all warranties.

OTHER HARDWARE
All other hardware purchased through “CPU” carries a 1-year limited** warranty, unless otherwise stated. No instant replacement on any parts after 6 months from purchase date. The Seagate brand of hard drives will be shipped off for warranty, an instant replacement will not be given—absolutely no refunds or exchanges. No instant replacement on any parts after 6 months from purchase date.

Additional Return and Exchange Information for Mail Order Customers
Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) must be obtained by telephone (903) 758-8978 or fax (903) 758-2407. You must provide your invoice number when calling for an RMA number. We cannot provide RMA information without an invoice number.
It is the responsibility of the customer not "CPU" to have proof of purchase. For returned merchandise, please allow 7 to 14 days for return of merchandise.

If your purchase was made online you can receive your Return Merchandise Authorization online by logging in, and following this link: [ Online RMA ] .

No cross shipment for returned goods for service is permitted and CPU Wholesale Computer Parts, Inc. must receive the returned goods within the warranty period.

All returned merchandise must be in original new condition and include any and all drivers, packing material, and documentation for exchange or refund. A copy of the original invoice must also be included. RMA number must be written on the outside of the shipping box.

Returns will not be accepted on items that have been damaged due to improper handling, abuse or neglect on the part of the customer.

Returns must be prepaid & insured.

Shipping and handling charges are non-refundable. It is the responsibility of the customer to pay for shipping any product sent for refund and/or replacement. For items that are defective, the company will pay for return shipping charges (for damaged items due to shipping, a claim must be made to Federal Express).

It is the customer's responsibility to insure packages paid by either credit card or prepayment.

Warranties do not include any physical damage or software damaged caused by customer.

Please be aware that our distributorships have the right to alter the warranty and return policy at there discretion. Check with your location for this information. This warranty and return policy is in effect for the Longview location only.


** CPU will not warranty any merchandise that has been damaged due to neglect of the customer, lightning, surges, power failures, or unforeseen acts of God. Refer to owners manual for limited warranty on certain products.

When customer orders from "CPU", through web site, phone, walk-in, fax, or mail, customer agrees and understands all terms stated in "Return and Warranty Policies" section.
